Taking Tea on a Tuesday...Grand Bleu..

It's a lovely day....

...blue skies and sunshine...

...so I went for "Grand Bleu" today.

Isn't it pretty.

Black and green teas with raspberry and rum essence....

...and little tiny blue sugar dolphins!

I know that this tea is supposed to relate to the ocean....

...but today it is being drunk under my big blue sky :-)

(Tea found at the delightful little shop in St.Valerie sur Somme)

How cute! I'd feel tempted to eat those dolphins along with the tea. Like the Russians did traditionally (I don't know if they still do): They did not put their sweetener -- they preferred cherry jam -- into the tea, but ate a bit of it and then took sips of tea.

The dolphins are very sweet....

...and dissolve into the tea so no other sweetener is needed....

...but I like the idea of cherry jam...

...on little spiced biscuits...

...maybe next week :-)

Darling teapot. I love teapots. If I had room I'd create a collection. For now I'll just collect tea leaves, much easier to store!

I like the way that this teapot also warms the cup underneath....so my tea stays hotter for longer...

...and I've given a note to Santa with the "KUSMI" name on it...so my tea collection will hopefully grow in December :-)))
