..two kinds of punching...

The first kind is with a couple of little craft punches...

....stars and squares....

...painted heavyweight watercolour paper...stuck into my sketchbook...

...along with some painted "Butterfly SoftSpun" that has been stitched on the machine....

...and more of the same cut into flower shapes....

The second kind, is, of course done with a punchneedle...

...a little heart, and a medieval tile design.

The pile is growing......

(no pun intended!)

Have a good weekend :-)

The stars and squares remind me of oriental ceramic tiles! The colors are so beautiful. And I love that latest punch needle work. What purpose does this serve? A cushion to sit on? A little rug to keep your feet warm while reading?

Your hands have been very busy - creating really cool stuff!! Love it all and as always I love your color schemes.

The stars and squares are in the book alongside pictures of The Alhambra and some tiles in a mosque I visited in Marrakech...so you got that right Eva!

The little punchneedle pieces are only small...and are just for framing, but they could be incorporated into larger pieces too...maybe a hot water bottle cover....hmmmmm

Thanks Penny...for the comment...and for getting me back to punching :-)
