Holiday Treasures #1

Finally back home...

..and completely done in!

But...

...I'm now re-discovering all the treasures I picked up while in France. :-)

Wonderful old rubber stamps of old French coins...

...and delightful Cicadas and generally "Provencal" images - just right for my "Lavender & Lace" bits.

Coming across a Brocante market on our last day in the Perigord allowed me to bag some beautiful lace, buttons and bobbins....

...and a couple of handwritten documents....one from 1822....

Love the elegant writing! :-)

I need a bit of time to do think of something with them though....

Have a great weekend

...from blues to greens - Borneo begins...

All my Philippines pages are done and stuck into my sample/scrapbook...

...so I spent a couple of hours in the workroom filing away the blues...

...and digging out greens.

I have every intention of doing more when I get there....

...using bits and pieces that I find...

...but for now...

...these are the products of my imaginings :-)

Stamped seed pods, printed leaves and flowers, lovely batik fabrics and a bit of writing....

....with stitch to finish (of course).

I also used the seedpod rubber stamps to make some polymer clay pieces for some page-spreads...

Have a great weekend...
