Looking.....and smelling good!!

The workroom smells wonderful today....

...wax (or oil) from the Markal Paintstik stencils...

...that are drying on the radiator!!

I'll enjoy the aroma until tomorrow...

...when I can iron them and then proceed with stitching :-)

And what am I doing I hear you ask...

...well...

....I have a bit of a "Japanese theme" going on...

Here's a bit of a flavour (in a purely pictorial sense of course!!)

Something tea related to go on the wall near my lovely Japanese tea set...

...some waves...

...one of a number of crests....

...and here's one I did earlier (cor...just like Blue Peter eh?)

...complete with metallic stitching!!

Some are for a tri-fold book that I've been working on for a little while now...

...and others are for the Contemporary Quilt Group Journal Quilt Challenge 2015...

...for which I have signed up.

Yes....I KNOW....haven't I got ENOUGH on my plate for this year already??!!!

Boff!

These look super Chris, but I cannot agree with your comments about the smell of Markal as I dislike it.

You are soooo busy - and how wonderful it is for us because we get to see all of your creations - albeit from a distance *smile*. Keep on creating!
