Someone's nicked it; put it in their pocket;.....and run away with it!
Anyway, here I am again on (yet another) lovely sunny Saturday morning...
...so the camera has done it's job taking pictures of goodies that arrived in the post.....and other goodies that have been created here.
I had the seriously good fortune to receive not ONE but TWO pressie parcels from two lovely blog-friends....
Carolyn sent me a beautiful parcel containing these goodies....
...a tiny gold box containing a lovely glass necklace surrounded by sequin flowers and cut out words......
...a beautiful hand-made card, with purple writing......
....to match a "berry-inspired" scrummy hand-knitted scarf that is soooooo lovely and warm and cosy (and I wore it on the day it arrived)!
Here's a close-up so you can appreciate the texture as well as the colour...
It was all wrapped up in a piece of red and cream squared cloth tied off with gold thread and a bell!
There was also something else lurking in the depths too......
.......CHOCOLATE!!!!!!.......
Hot chocolate to be presact...

The very next day, another packet turned up....
...this time from Eva...
...containing THIS.....
..gorgeous piece of needlework.
It must have taken hours to complete - and I LOVE IT!
I'm going to stitch it into a cushion with pom-poms or tassels on the corners....
Thank you Eva - your stitchery is always such a pleasure to receive.
...and the Tibetan Tiger note that came with the panel is now in my "Tibetan" sketchbook.....

How lucky I feel to have such generous people in my blog-life!
It's been a busy couple of weeks in general. Lots of paperwork and other-such-stuff to be dealing with.
But I've still managed to complete a few more pieces for the next Exhibition in Aberystwyth next month.
These are small ones - to be mounted on canvas panels, and have developed out of my brooches.
I wasn't sure if they were going to work when scaled-up, but I'm happy with the results.
The idea is that they can be mounted singly, or in two's or fours....
Here are a few that are fully finished...
..apart from the sticking bit!
I'm starting another blog soon......
...to accomodate my other "passion".
It's called "Paper and Word", and will be used to show my hand-made and artist's books and related things like poetry and print experiments.
I'll be posting a link from this blog - so please take a look when it's up and running.
Can't make up my mind whether to stay in or go out today.....
......maybe I'll just have a cup of coffee and think about it.....
