Finished Page 2 this afternoon. This time I used some symbolism from an old sketchbook that focussed on Old European belief systems.
I kept to much the same colour scheme as Page 1 - Yellow background, complemented with purple, which turns to a lovely rich brown when painted on top! Kooh-I-Noor dyes are great for this - especially on this fairly lightweight watercolour paper.
Again, scraps of fabric and "pequins" - all tied-up with hand stitch....
I'm enjoying this journey......
