Back on Track!

Here are a couple of the "Tribal Cloth" samples that have been done over the last few days. It seems like AGES since I did any work on this project, but all the wooden print blocks have been excavated from their drawer and the paint pots are out - at last!

Wednesday 19th was a "biggie" - 50 years young! So Bloke and I went to our fav place - Hay-on-Wye, and had a really good book fix. Found a brill book on African tribal art and can't wait to get stuck-in creating lovely things inspired by the contents. Fancy doing some free-standing pieces this time - and some wall-mounted pieces - and some accessories - and then some whatever-I-feel-like-at-the-time thingies! Feels like this winter is going to be fun.....................

This is so beautiful and simple and not over-embellished, reminds me of authentic tribal art!
