Tribal Cloth experiments

..been playing around with some wooden printing blocks on some pieces of dyed cloth... just to see what could be done.

Running stitches, not unlike Kantha, following the outline of the shape - in hand-dyed threads...

I think that this method will find it's way into the next couple of cloths... but maybe in more striking colours...

...I'm away to the paint pot drawer....

They're lovely - love the texture created by Kantha style stitching and it's so relaxing to do. I've been tagged on my blog to reveal 7 random facts about myself but I have to pass it on - would you mind? No offence taken if you wish not to of course.

I don't mind revealing 7 random facts about myself, but prefer not to tag onwards. Thanks for asking first!

Happy stitching.
