More beautiful goodies for silk paper making!!

Postie delivered a wondrous parcel...

...from Oliver Twists!!

Silk laps and some throwster's waste...

...in lovely rusty colours.

These photos definitely don't do justice to the rich colours...

...which are much deeper than they look on my computer screen!

I shall be laying some out for more silk paper later on, so that it can dry overnight.

Tomorrow I shall go in with machine stitching - copper metallic I think....

....then...

...magical things will happen!! :-D

I'm going downstairs for a while now because it stinks up here...

...nasty, but necessary varnish smells. Ugh!

Happy Thursday folks

...and another two!!

I excavated a bit more...

...and found some other colours of silk noil...

...along with some throwster's waste...

...and Angelina fibres.

So...

...the gloop was out again...

...and, after drying overnight...

...the machining was done and I have another two sheets to press into action.

One is the colour of Fire...

...the other of Ice.

I have ordered some lovely rusty bits from Oliver Twists...

...so when they get here the gloop shall be out once more!!

Have a great weekend folks
