My mice now have eyes...
...noses...
...and mouths.
Whiskers shall follow soon.
I've even managed to make a start on some "medieval" embroidery...
...stitched around a Colouricious block print.
Stencil cutting will take place later today...
...I'm going to pick up on that little pattern in the corner of the stamp.

...a different kind of Medieval....
Yesterday I posted some pictures of my new "Medieval Inspirations" sketchbook...
...today you are being given images of my latest tri-fold book...
..."Medieval Tiles #2".
It includes designs from floor tiles...
...some manuscript illuminations...
...and diapering patterns
This is another sample for my class at the Yorkshire & Humber Regional Summer School next month.
(It's coming around at great speed!!)
I'll post some of the finished book when the glue is dry! :-)

...and back home again!!!
Wow!
It's been a hectic few weeks...
...with hardly any time being spent here at home...
...but having wonderful jaunts elsewhere.
No work this time though...
...just a glorious break visiting Chartres...
...one of my favourite places in France...
...gathering even more pictures to use for my Medieval themed projects.
No matter how many times we visit...
...I don't think I'll ever tire of gazing at what I call "The Lady"!
The focus this time was on detail...
...and there is plenty of that!!
Drool along lovely people............
And there are over 400 more that I have to play with!! :-)))
How wonderful is life?!
