We're back home...not exactly recovered...
...but happy after a brilliant show at the NEC.
It was lovely to see so many lovely friends...
...and meet even more new ones!!
Here are some piccies of my stand...
...with new workshop samples up for the first time.
Here are my Dragon's Eggs on display...
Boards showing Magical Moth workshops, Medieval Tile workshops and Medieval Mice workshops.
Tribal Jewels workshop samples...
Colourful Couching workshop samples...
Sashiko (Japanese inspirations) workshop samples...
I had stressed somewhat beforehand...
...worried that I might not have enough stuff to make a good show of my work.
But...
...it was all for nowt...
...as I actually had two boxes left over with no space left!!
Thanks to everyone who came...talked...commented...hugged...and listened to my talks.
You are all very special people!!

Arts Alive workshop (warning...lots of pics)
What a wonderful time we had...
...at Arts Alive in Crickhowell!!
Paint all over the place....
...tables (and floor) littered with bits of fabric and threads...
...lots of teas, coffees, chatter and laughter...
...AND....
...planning for more later in the year!! YEY!!!!!
Three days of this....
...plus learning Chemanthy stitch...
Getting started on some Tribal pieces...
...playing "Hunt The Sequin"!!!!
(...and "NO" Katherine...your bum doesn't look big in those jeans!!)
Some finished pieces.....
...and almost finished.
Thanks to Arts Alive for organizing this....
...and to Helen, Abby, Fiona, Liz, Celia, Helen and Katherine for being such good students!
I'm now looking forward to doing something very similar with the Lincolnshire Embroiderers Guild and at Stitching in the Dales next month :-)
Happy Easter everyone.....

"Tribal Jewels" workshop at Arts Alive
I'm now putting materials together for my "TRIBAL JEWELS" 3-day workshop...
...at ARTS ALIVE, Brecon Road, Crickhowell, Powys - 14th to 16th April.
It's going to be a great few days...
...with loads of printing and stitching!
We'll be taking inspiration from tribal textiles...
...and my own "MAGIC" pieces.
I'll be taking loads and LOADS of gorgeous print blocks from Colouricious.....
.....beautiful yarns from Colinette...
...and threads from Oliver Twists.
Oh.......
....are we going to have fun or what!!??
