What an experience!
We had a VERY early start, leaving home at 1am to get to Gatwick, park the car and fly at 8.30am.
No problems encountered...
...and I really enjoyed the flight...
...as we crossed over the snow-capped alps on the way. Ahhhhhhhhhh
The approach to Marco Polo Airport took us past the edge of the lagoon and then Venezia itself...
It made an absolutely perfect start to a wonderful short break.
