To begin at the beginning:

"It is spring, moonless night in the small town, starless and bible-black, the cobblestreets silent and hunched, courters'-and-rabbits' wood limping invisible down to the sloeblack, slow black, crowblack, fishingboat-bobbing sea......"

Yesterday, we took advantage of the beautiful weather....

...and went to commune with Dylan at Laugharne.

Above is The Boat House....

...below, his writing shed.....

...the walk to the Boat House.....

the VIEW!!!!

...the Castle.

There's a tri-fold book in here somewhere methinks!

Isn't it just beautiful weather! Sitting outside with my breakfast this morning I was transported to the shores of Sicily! :)

I recognised Dylan Thomas's house as soon as I saw the photo. Went there about 15 years ago - it's a lovely part of the country.

Enjoy the sunshine!

Yes Janice, the washing line has been pressed into hard service over the last week....

...and we've been transported to somewhere in the south of France as we've had our pain au chocolat and coffee on the terrace mid morning.

Laugharne was stunning, and sitting at home reading some of his poetry afterwards just made the day for me.
