..a little bit of writing....

...was what I decided to use to fill the gap between the beautiful lady and border pattern.

I'd already covered the background with seed stitching in metallic thread....

...but it still looked "empty".

So....

...I went through my "working photos"...

...and found an image of some carved writing at Angkor.

A hour on the machine can do wonders for a piece.....

I'll be demonstrating some of these methods at Fashion Embroidery & Stitch this year - Stand P34.

Call by and say "Hello" if you're at the show :-)

This time next week I'll be on my way to the airport to begin my very long flight.

Can't say I'm looking forward to the journey...

...but sure will be glad to see some blue skies and be swanning around in 30 degrees!!

I'll try to post (at least) once more before I go....

....and, hopefully, now that the man has sorted the tablet....

....when I'm there too!

Have a good week you lovely people.....

x C

Ah now - swanning around in 30 degrees ... and sun ... and NO RAIN. How I envy you!

Maybe you can get away from it all before long too!
