...Textile Heaven (Warning ...lots of piccies!!)

Sorry for being a bit of a blog-slug lately...

..but a bit of boring production is required and I don't want to make you go to sleep :-o

After a busy day at Busy Bees....

...we decided to have a mooching day on Sunday.

The sun was out....

...it was lovely and warm....

...so we went to Artique....

...as one does on such a day. :-)))

Enjoy!!

Uzbek yurt bands...

...camel girths...

Piles of rugs....

Uzbek embroidered hats...

Silver and embroidered anklets...

Talismanic protection on an afghan dress...

Ralli bag...

Kutchi embroidered dress...

Beautiful beads...

...and blessings...

...on every one of you.

(Next time I'll let you see "the purchase" ;-)

Artique is SUCH a special place!! ...

...and we DID stay hours!

The colours and patterns are always an inspiration to me.

It's like traveling to exotic places without having to get on a plane! :-)
