...stitchin' and stuffin' !!...

Bloke has had some measure of success...

..and lappy is up and running again!

Soooooo....

...I can now post some piccies of what I've been up to of late.

First up...

...cashmere and silk yarns have been dyed ..

..to make some delicious tassels for anything that I fancy putting tassels on! :-)

..like these little cushions that can be used for pins or just decoration.

You'll notice the printed design on the front...

...well more printing has been done on these too...

Heart pillows that can be hung up somewhere...

..or, again, used as pincushions........once they've been stuffed!

Red cross stitch has also taken up some time...

..these little stitched hearts will be adorning more small gift items.

...and, at last...

...Giselle is finished!

...and I just couldn't resist using some of the edging stitches built in to my new machine!

Giselle is a beginning....

...now I've got all those lovely French General fabrics to use on her sisters :-))

(Blogger's been a right pig today!....took me more than 45 minutes to get this post up

Burgundy is your colour, isn't it? Love these prints! And this doll is beautiful because her expression is serious and not "dolly" at all.

All perfect Chris esp. your printed hearts and those delicious earthy threads

Thanks...

I don't like "cute dolly"...and I like the idea that she's thinking of something :-)

Deep reds are certainly a favourite...as they are for Carolyn!

The print blocks work really well on this fine linen...and, luckily I have plenty to play with (blocks and linen that is!)

Yes Karen...I hope lappy stays well too :-)

Giselle is full of character and I don't think she'd take any nonsense from anyone. Love your designs!

Looks like you have been having so much fun! I am pushing myself to start taking time again to sew. Love your prints, they are so nice and crisp and do seem to work well with that Linen.
Giselle seems a very serious girl, I wonder what she is thinking? *grin*
Hope you are well...though seeing this I think you must be :)
