..a bit of a tour...

We've had my Father-in-Law staying for a week....

...so it was deemed suitable to take him out for a run around the area.

Choir practice on a Tuesday is in Brecon...

...but, because we're running up to a concert..

..it was held in the hall. (Just to get a feel for the stage etc)

The countryside around here is stunning!

Here are a few piccies (not taken by me I must add!) to give you a flavour.....

I'm having some serious fun with the new toy :-)

...a Pfaff Creative 2.0

Piccies soon

I feel extremely lucky to have this kind of scenery on my doorstep! It provides so much inspiration...for woven tapestry and fabric/paper collage etc.

I often go out with my sketchbook, a pile of dyed papers and a glue stick...

..the scenes can then be used at a later date to do whatever comes to mind :-)

What lovely photos, almost look unreal and off a chocolate box.

Lucky, lucky you! Reminds me of all our holiday photos. There's no other green quite like the one you get in Wales, I think quite different from English/Scottish/Irish green.
