..on a roll....

..despite visits to doctors and dentists.....

..pages have been filled....

...one after another...

..Henna stars...

....Feija henna designs mixed in....

...rug elements....

..... more henna designs (mostly from The Henna Page)...

...and had another session on the sewing machine...

Then....began to mix things up a bit....

..weird or what?!!

It's beginning to look Aboriginal now! :-o

You are really getting the feel for this now. These are looking very good! Can't wait to see what you create after all these beautiful sketches.

Not weird ;) almost everything looks like something nowadays (charm + curse of information overflow...)

I'll be interested to see what comes out of them too!....

I have a real urge now....to put in elements from elsewhere...

...symbolic...amuletic...magic....kind of stuff....

..and why not!....

I will do whatever feels good at the time....

..not weird....but definitely wyrd ;-)

Love your latest work. That star is exactly like Estonian folk art. It is universal! A wonderful header.

Thanks so much for pointing me towards the Henna page - so many wonderful patterns! Thanks also for the inspiration, it's been really interesting seeing your work go off in this direction.

Thanks everyone for your lovely comments....these designs are taking me on a trip to somewhere....and it's exciting!

I WILL be mixing things from now on...

...from all over the place...

Embroidery motifs; rug motifs; knitting patterns (think Anatolian socks!); ancient art patterns (which is what they all are anyway!!)...etc. etc. etc.

..and your are ALL welcome to come along for the ride :-)))

Not weird ... it's all flowing nicely. So many wonderful ways you could take these, so much inspiration to draw on in different media. Just let it all flow out of you and fill those beautiful books. I wanna see them one day ok!

Sending love, hugs and lots of best wishes to you and bloke xoxoxoxo
