..a bit of a tour...

We've had my Father-in-Law staying for a week....

...so it was deemed suitable to take him out for a run around the area.

Choir practice on a Tuesday is in Brecon...

...but, because we're running up to a concert..

..it was held in the hall. (Just to get a feel for the stage etc)

The countryside around here is stunning!

Bloke's having trouble with the server, and my poor lappy has no internet connection at all.

I have a working laptop....

...that I now have to fiddle with to learn how to do...

...all the things that I USED to know how to do EASILY!!!

But, it seems to work NOW...as opposed to in a while when the computer has finished sustaining itself and will then think about letting me use it instead!

STILL no computer!!

I've only managed to get a few minutes computer time since the last posting!...

..just to catch up on e-mails, and the odd blog visit.

Can't get the Memory stick recognised by the machine...

...so no photos can be loaded in ...

..and the internet connection has been playing up...disconnecting itself for no apparent reason!

..done zillions of little pennant flags though! :-)


I DO hope I can get a decent posting done soon....

..computer problems!!...

...completely fed-up with Microsoft!....

...and it's damned self-feeding update systems....

...that spends most of it's time using my computer to look after ITSELF...

...so much so that I can't use the thing myself because the hard drive is always tied-up doing something ELSE!...

So...

..I asked Bloke to take the Microsoft system OFF...

..and put Linux ON...

...so that my computer will be MINE again...

But...

..it's taking him a while to sort it..

..so, the only picture I can put on here today is THIS one...



...because I'd already put it into the documents folder!

Can't put any more in at the minute, because stuff's not ready.

I've done quite a bit since the last post...

...including making this cross stitch panel into a sweet little cushion, complete with tassels at the corners :-)

..AND more thread dyeing...

Guess picture postings will have to wait until gremlins are expelled :-(
