Conker pot...dye pot...and clay..(not pot!)

A bit of a mixed bag today....

First up, a quick snap of the pot that's on the cooker...

...various fabrics...silks and cottons...

...bubbling away with fallen conkers and chestnut leaves from the garden.

We'll see what happens there...

Next...what's come out of the dye pot...

..all lined up on their new display stands :-)

And finally...

...remember those print blocks from the last post....

...well, here's what they've been used for THIS time...

..freshly baked...

..and I've even painted a few already..

..to put together with this piece of painted pelmet Vilene..

Hope you all had a great weekend!

Wow, you've been busy, busy. Love everything. Of course the colored threads all hanging in rows were especially eye catching. Your dye work is wonderful.

Never a dull moment 'round your neck of the woods...good stuff going on here. I'm *ditto* with Penny about those threads.....

Thanks ladies....I'm happier with those stands...they display the threads better and won't get messed-up like the baskets (I spent a lot of time tidying at the last show :-o)

I've got a lot more to skein-up...dyed especially for the punchneedle....

....but the next couple of days are going to be spent with those bits of clay :-)))

Hubble bubble toil and trouble! Looking forward to seeing what these give. Beautiful threads and clay blocks.
Wishing you well Chris!

What gorgeous colours and textures you have delighted us with today, Chris! Really inspiring. I've been doing some mould making and would love to take impressions of all that lot!!

Been so busy with projects recently that I haven't yet had a chance to play with the Butterfly SoftSpun. One day...

The colors are so lovely and in harmony. These pictures could make a huge poster! Also the "cookies" are yummy. So curious what will become out of them!
